A New Asana for Treating the Neck & Shoulder Pain with Improved Flexibility-Junuper Publishers

Image
Juniper Publishers A new therapy for alleviating the neck & shoulder pain instantly based on the principles of yoga asana is presented. The method involves a sequence of skeletal movements of the neck and shoulder muscles to relieve any stress developed during the trauma or disturbing experience; excluding injuries causing damage to the tissue. Through prolonged stretch and relaxation, the muscles are freed from the constrained posture to bring about the symptomatic relief to the individual. It is found that the asana does not involves staining along the directions that lead to the injury as opposed to the well-known asanas such as Utthita Shishosana, Sasangasana, and Dhanurasana, Matsyasana, suggesting a huge potential to explore the pathophysiological benefits of the new asana in managing NSPs. Keywords:  Asana; Neck & Shoulder Pain Go to Introduction Neck/Shoulder Pain (NSP) is a common musculoskeletal disorder that affects a significant population aro...

Spinal Cord Injury Patient Treated with Cell-Based Therapy and Cell Sonic VIPP-Juniper Publishers

Image
Juniper Publishers The patient had a road traffic accident and sustained injuries in his spine in September 2017. He was paralyzed below the waist and was bedridden since the accident. He did not undergo any major treatment at his home country. He was brought to our hospital on a stretcher. With cell-based therapy and Cell Sonic VIPP plus neurorehabilitation, the patient was able to stand with the help of callipers within a month of treatment. This is tremendous improvement as the family was told that the boy will remain bedridden. He had developed bed sores due to lack of movement. With the combination treatment of cell-based therapy and Cell Sonic VIPP in the wound area, we could accomplish rapid healing of the sores. Overall the improvement is very encouraging. After few months of follow up, we will look to publish this case. We have few more cases in the pipeline, and we hope to publish them in reputed journals after the required follow up period. Go to Emotional Pain...
